Apple is scheduled to introduce the next iOS 17 on June 5 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). As with every year, various hints and speculations started showing up on the internet, giving us a sneak peek at much of what is expected to happen.
The Apple WWDC 2023 conference is just around the corner, and Apple is likely to release the next major software upgrade – iOS 17. All of the most recent iPhones, including the iPhone 14, iPhone 13, iPhone 12 to iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus, as well as the future iPhone 15 series, are scheduled to receive the iOS 17 update. But what fresh capabilities will it include? Will it alter the overall iPhone endure?
IOS 17 Expected features we know so far:
Live Voice and Individual Voice
This feature will most likely allow users to input messages that are read aloud during telephone or FaceTime chats. It also allows you to save frequently employed phrases for audible playback. The Personal Voice feature is very helpful for persons suffering from illnesses such as ALS, as it allows them to develop a voice that matches their own. Users build a Personal Voice by reading a series of written instructions and filming 15 minutes of speech on their iPhone or iPad.
According to reports, the Health app in iOS 17 will get a redesign, notably in the Favourites area. The redesigned interface will have small tiles that will display parameters such as Heart Rate, Task, Sleep, and Moves in colorful graphs, tables, and other layouts.
According to leaked details, the Wallet app in iOS 17 will be redesigned, with the introduction of a new “All transactions” button and categorized tabs for specific tasks, such as a separate tab for Apple Cash/Savings. Furthermore, users will be able to perform an all-encompassing search by sliding down within the apps.
Assistive Access, a feature that is expected to benefit those with cognitive limitations, simplifies Apple programs and exposure to their fundamental tasks. It also combines the iPhone and FaceTime applications into a single user experience. The feature features a high-contrast interface with prominent icons and large text labels, as well as the ability for trustworthy friends to tailor the user’s experience.
Point and Speech
Individuals with visual impairments will benefit from this feature, which will make it easier to use physical objects with textual labels. This tool, which has been integrated into the magnifier app, uses camera input, LiDAR Scanner information, and machine learning to assist users in navigating daily appliances like microwaves and refrigerators.
As with every major iOS version, iOS 17 is set to include a new matrix view for wallpapers that can display up to nine backgrounds at once. Customers can utilize this tool to quickly erase undesirable wallpapers from the grid view and alter their wallpaper arrangement. Users can also replicate or share wallpapers by swiping up in single view orientation.
IOS 17 Compatible iPhones
There’s a risk that support for the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and X will be discontinued next year. iOS 16 eliminated compatibility for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus after five years of service.
