Vivo’s flagship X90 series smartphones are now starting to be hinted at availability in India. Although no specific date has been confirmed as of this writing, we can expect the X90 and X90 Pro to be available in the United States as early as this month. The India debut of the X90 series was made public at the same period as the global launch, however, no specific date was given. Vivo has created a dedicated product listing website with the motto “coming soon,” indicating that the lineup will be available soon.
The listing makes it clear that the X90 Pro will be the flagship product, so it will be interesting to see whether there are any unforeseen developments in store for the X90 Pro Plus. However, if history is any guide, the X90 and X90 Pro are approximately what we can expect.
Vivo X90 and X90 Pro Display and Screensize:
The X90 and X90 Pro both have 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of 120Hz and an authorized luminance of 1,300nits. The two smartphones are driven by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200 chipset, which is expandable to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Funtouch OS 3, built around Android 13, is in command.
Camera and Battery Life:
The X90 Pro’s three-lens setup on its back is more strong, with a 50MP main lens (1-inch Sony IMX989), a 12MP ultrawide width lens, and an additional 50MP portrait camera with 2x optical zoom capability. The X90 contains a total of three cameras: a 12MP ultrawide, an additional 12MP telephoto, and a slightly reduced 50MP main (IMX866). The two phones have the same 32MP front-facing shooter. The X90 Pro’s 4,870mAh battery capacity enables 50W wireless charging as well as 120W quick wired charging.
Vivo X90 and X90 Pro expected price in India
X90 and X90 Pro both the phones are both scheduled to be launched this month in India. Vivo X90’s expected price in India is around Rs 57,990 for the basic variant with 128Gb storage.
