Jeep Meridian – Price, review, and Key features that car lovers must know

Jeep just introduced two new Meridian 3-row SUV models. These are known as the Meridian X and Meridian Upland. These limited editions come in two new color variants and begin at Rs. 33.41 lakhs and go up to Rs. 38.47 lakhs. These limited editions will be offered in two colorways: Silvery Moon and Galaxy Blue. The engine stats remain unchanged, with the same 2.0-liter MultiJet diesel engine producing 168hp and 350 Nm of power and connected to either a 6-speed conventional or a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

The Car receives a FWD design as opposed to the Fortuner’s conventional RWD configuration. The Meridian Limited(O) has AWD as an option, although it is only available with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The Jeep Meridian starts at 33.40 Lakh and rises up to 38.61 Lakh ex-showroom. The Jeep Meridian Limited Option has the cheapest ex-showroom cost of 33,40,000, while the Jeep Meridian Limited Plus variant 4×4 AT has the highest ex-showroom cost of 38,61,000. The EMI begins at 73,566 a month for 5 years at an interest rate of 8.75. (However, this loan costing will differ from bank to bank).

Engine Specs and Features

The Jeep Meridian is only offered with a 2.0L turbo Diesel engine and either a 9-speed TC or a 6-speed MT gearbox. The Meridian turbo Diesel engine produces 172PS @ 3750 revolutions per minute and 350Nm between 1750 and 2500rpm.

The petrol tank capacity of the 2023 Jeep Meridian is 60 liters, while the boot capacity is 233 liters. The Meridian has a 214mm clearance from the ground. The 2023 Meridian entry-level version has 245/65 R17 tires, while the most expensive model has 245/60 R18 tires. Cars with larger wheels have superior handling and aesthetics. However, these benefits come at the expense of efficiency. Larger wheels imply more metal and rotational mass. As a result, it has a negative impact on your drivability, efficiency, and economy.
