With a spate of debuts in the last few months and more on the way, the sub-500cc sport motorcycle sector is getting a facelift this year. The impending Aprilia RS440, which has been spotted again in India, is one of them.
The bike appears to be in manufacturing, similar to the one photographed abroad last month. The design features are obvious, with a somewhat forward-leaning position, higher clip-on handlebars, and rear-set footpegs. The position is similar to that of the KTM RC 390. The RS440 is based on a twin-spar chassis and features an underfloor exhaust and divided seats, both of which were seen in prior spy pictures.

Aprilia RS 440 price in India:
The Aprilia RS 440 is anticipated to have a 440cc parallel-twin engine. It could be a variant of the bigger 660cc engine seen in the RS660. The motor will have a 6-speed transmission. In comparison, the KTM RC 390 features a 373.27 cc single-cylinder engine that generates 43.5 PS and 37 Nm.
The parallel-twin 399cc liquid-cooled piston on the Kawasaki Ninja 400 produces 45 PS and 37 Nm. In terms of costs, the KTM RC 390 has an initial cost of roughly Rs 3.18 lakh. The Ninja 400 is priced at Rs 5.19 lakh. Yamaha is preparing for the debut of the R3 in India, which might cost up to Rs 4 lakh. The Aprilia RS 440 might be priced between Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 4 lakh.
