In India, a half lunar eclipse will be observed in Delhi from Supermoon at 5:32 PM until Moonset at 6:18 PM. The complete lunar eclipse will be seen only in eastern India, encompassing Kolkata, Siliguri, Bihar, Ranchi, and Assam.

Lunar Eclipse November 2022: Sutak time

Remember the Sutak era, which is considered unlucky by religious traditions. During the eclipse, it is normally recommended that you stay indoors and prevent undertaking any fresh work. Chandra Grahan Sutak will commence at 9:21 AM and terminate at 6:18 PM, according to Drik Panchang. However, Sutak time will begin at 2:48 PM and terminate at 6:18 PM for youngsters, the old, and the sick people.

Things to avoid in Chandra Grahan

  • During Sutak Kaal, fortunate work should be avoided because it does not produce the intended outcomes.
  • During this time, temple gates should be closed and no religious activities should be done.
  • During the Sutak time, avoid eating anything.
  • Pregnant ladies should avoid leaving the house at this time.
