Motorola Razr 40 foldable smartphone Launch date revealed in India, Check details

Motorola confirmed the debut of a new foldable cell phone line-up on June 1. According to the official teaser, the business will debut two foldable cell phones, the Motorola Razr 40 and Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. ‘Flip the script,’ says the tagline of the 6-second preview. The two upcoming foldable Motorola devices will have a clamshell form, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series.

Motorola announced the arrival of the Razr foldable smartphone in China. The company has stated that the upcoming Razr foldable phone will be available on June 1. Motorola is yet to officially confirm the names of the devices, but speculation suggests that the business will release two foldable phones. These will be branded as the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra: Display and Design

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is a foldable Android cellphone with a compact design. The huge outside display is confirmed by leaked design images of the premium smartphone on the internet. Two selfie cameras are hidden inside the cover display. When you unlock the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, you’ll see a big display with a punch-hole selfie cam at the top center of the screen.

According to the design mockups, the clamshell-style foldable cellphone would be offered in three colors: black, blue, and red. Suffice it to say, Motorola should come up with some creative names for these colors. According to some rumors, Motorola has included a 120Hz refresh rate screen, but some claim it might be higher, reaching 165Hz.

Razr 40 Ultra: Camera, battery, and Processor

The smartphone will most likely have a dual rear camera configuration with a 12MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens. It is likely to have a punch-hole 12MP forward-facing cam for pictures and video chats.    The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is expected to have a 3,500 mAh battery with 33W rapid charging. The foldable phone is expected to ship with MyUX 5.

The Ultra variant is likely to be available in red, blue, and black. The Ultra version is likely to have a large cover display, whilst the Razr 40 model may have a modest horizontal display that displays limited alerts such as time, call information, messages, and so on. The most recent model could look like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is slated to power the Moto Razr 40 Ultra, which will be combined with a choice of 8GB or 12GB of RAM along with 256 GB of memory. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is said to come with a 3,500mAh battery and support for 33W wired rapid charging. It will most likely ship with MyUX 5, which relies on Android 13.

Expected price in India

According to reports, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will set you back $1,000. In India, this translates to roughly 80,000. If the price is correct, the Razr 40 Ultra will be competing with the Oppo Find N2 Flip and may be a better option than the Google Pixel Fold. Furthermore, the Motorola Razr 40 would be somewhat less expensive. This would make the basic version even more appealing in terms of pricing because it would provide better value for money.
